Voting begins today!
Hey,I'm in the running to be named the 2013 American Made Audience Choice Award Winner. American Made is a movement founded by Martha Stewart that spotlights the maker, supports the local, and celebrates the handmade. It’s made up of people and communities who have turned their passion for quality craftsmanship and well-designed goods into a way of life.To win would mean $10,000 to support my business and a trip to New York for the annual American Made Talks and Workshops. Will you vote for me?http://www.marthastewart.com/americanmade/nominee/80322The winner is determined by the number of votes he or she gets and you can vote up to six times each day! So please come back and vote daily! Thanks,Bonny Dutton
Change the look.
Today I' been using a different treadling pattern to create a whole new look in this overshot cloth. Cool.

Fiesta Time!
All the while weaving these placemats I kept seeing Fiesta dinnerware in my mind's eye.
Okay, sometimes LeCreuset would also invade my thoughts, but you get the idea...
13 different colours in total from gold to black and everything in between.
Imagine a beautiful table set with colourful plates atop these bright and bold placemats! Makes me want to scour CList for vintage pieces of my own!
Each placemat is woven with 80% cotton/20% wool on a 100% cotton warp of autumnal colours.
A tiny border of taupe accents the multicolour fringe and makes the whole group cohesive even though each one has it's own personality. Machine washable and dryer friendly.
A virtual FIESTA of colour! Now to weave some napkins that will join the party happening here.
